In order to sale products we need to convince people. It
depends on our marketing skills how much we good at it and how much our product
quality and prices are competitive. If we try to convince buyers on low quality
and high prices than our time will get wasted. My company is manufacturing UPS AGM batteries having competitive
prices and good quality but still buyers take lot of time to close the deals.
There are so many buyers who just ask for the information
again and again and then stop replying so we need to identify at first whether
the customer is potential or not. The way we can identify is that we should ask
their complete information at first and the experience about the product he is
interested to buy. The information and experience he shares with you will give
you an idea about his willingness to buy the product.
There was a UPS VRLA battery supplier from Egypt who
is in contact with me for three months. Every time he asked the prices of new
models of VRLA battery but then I realized later he just wanted to know the
prices so we need to identify first about the potential level of the customer.
Once we get an idea than we should take strong follow ups only with potential
buyers which is one of the key success factors to get the deal closed.
