Promotion Of Batteries



Marketing and promotion tools are very important to attract buyers or customers. I saw one UPS VRLA battery supplier who promoted his product on different social media tools with the name of his company. I followed the same thing and created my company account on different social media tools with my company name on Facebook, twitter and LinkedIn. This gave me a big exposure to my company and I got some inquiries through Facebook.

There was one potential buyer from Pakistan, i got his contact from external source and added him on Facebook. He told me that he also deal in VRLA batteries and looking for a good manufacture. I told him about our company that we are the leading manufacturer of VRLA batteries which include AGM battery, Gel battery and deep cycle battery as well.

He discussed with me all the technical information and specifications of the product on Facebook. We had long discussions about developing our new business relationship. All the details about prices and import issues we talked about. He showed his interested in doing business with my company and told me that he need UPS AGM batteries. I suggested him some models and best suited technology for his application. He got so much satisfied with my discussion and the suggestions i gave it to him. He gave me a good hope to start business with my company soon. This was the current example which proved how much social media is powerful and an effective tool for promotional activities and business.
