Demand of VRLA Batteries


Renewable energy environment industry is growing day by day and many people are moving toward energy products which includes solar energy system, wind energy system and so on. This industry is very cost effective in order to generate electricity and it is also helping to increase the demand of batteries because the energy applications need power and support so they can’t run without batteries.

There was one inquiry I got from Romania and the buyer is planning to start his new project so he gave an order of 12V-120ah batteries for testing. The buyer could not wait for long so he is ready to import batteries by air which how much the battery is important for energy applications and VRLA batteries can also be useful for other purposes like UPS, Golf car, telecommunication and so on.

When buyers plan to import batteries they are very much worried about after sales service because they experience many failures in batteries so building trust with buyer is really important and it is only possible if your product quality is good and reliable. A battery failure can also happen if it’s not used properly so the manufacturers must educate the user about the usage and technical specifications of batteries.

Details of Battery suppliers


Nowadays battery business is going very well in many countries and the time has come when vrla batteries more preferable over flooded lead acid batteries. UPS AGM batteries are also a type of VRLA battery which is very efficient for UPS. Recently I got an inquiry from Libya who is interested to buy long life batteries for solar application system.

The buyer from Libya told me that the market is expected to boom because of increasing solar business day by day and he has many projects in pipeline for this year. Firstly he is planning to buy 30 pieces 12V-90ah battery from my company and he is going to order batteries very soon. He also showed his interest to be a dealer of our company in Libya market and that could be a very good prospect for my company.

There was another from Nepal who is also requiring batteries and he gave me the inquiry few days back. When I called him for the follow of the inquiry, he told me that in Nepal customers are more interested in batteries with maintenance because of the price factor. According to what he said it is difficult for a UPS VRLA battery supplier to get a good market share in Nepal.

Ways of Communication with Buyers


There are many ways we can communicate with the ups agm batteries customer or any other customer but the most important thing is to make the communication effective. Yesterday I found one inquiry from Nepal but the technical details of the batteries were not clearly mentioned. I called that buyer and asked him the details about the battery models he wanted. He also asked me to send the prices.

The above activity is just like a daily routine but when I call back to those buyers who give me an inquiry, they say we are busy or will let you know later. There was a buyer from Pakistan who gave me a big requirement of batteries and I talked to him on call for like 45 minutes. We talked about all the details including prices and he gave me the hope of good communication results.

When I called him back for the follow up he gave me an offer of his own products and told me a big difference in terms of prices of his batteries compare to our batteries but the quality was totally different. Batteries for solar system



In the category of VRLA battery UPS AGM batteries can also be useful for solar panels and other applications. There many buyers I got who work in big solar projects and some have their own company of solar panels. There is one buyer from Pakistan who works in solar business and he has his own company with big network and he is the CEO of his company.

He gave me the inquiry of solar batteries long time ago and I still take follow ups with him. Basically his company is in Lahore but for 2 months he is in Karachi. Yesterday I called him and he told me that he is interested to meet with me and he is planning to import one container from our company before even looking at sample so the trust factor is really important in business.

Taking follow ups with the customer is really important in dealing with customer because it will help you to remind your customers about your company and customer also feel good when we show some concern. Today I contacted one UPS VRLA battery supplier from Pakistan who is interested to import samples but not willing to pay the shipping cost.

Batteries for Telecom


These days there is good demand of telecom batteries in Nepal. People are participating in different tenders bidding. I got one inquiry from Facebook and buyer asked for USP AGM batteries. He asked for the price of 500 pieces and 5000 pieces as well. I observed that Facebook is also helping a lot in promoting your business and it gives a good exposure to your company and products also.

There is also another buyer from Nepal whom I searched through external source. He participated in tenders and before some time he also gave me the inquiry and showed his interest to import vrla batteries from China. He is interested to buy batteries from our company if we give him market compatible prices.

The buyer name is Deep Raj from Nepal. He told me that he imports batteries from India and there is a good market of batteries in Nepal. He also showed his interest to be the distributor of my company. He said he will send us the last tender documentation for the reference. If a UPS VRLA battery supplier from India can export batteries to Nepal than it is also a good opportunity for China to enter in the competition.

Uninterruptible Power Supply Battery



In this season of winter there is very less demand of rechargeable batteries especially for the UPS AGM batteries because in the region of Asia electricity problem occur rarely but in summer this problem occur very often. I get so many inquiries from Pakistan but never had a deal with any buyer from the starting day of my work.

In the beginning I felt that Pakistani market is not really good and according to the current situation of the company there is no opportunity or benefit from Pakistan to our company but I still think this market has lots of potential. The buyers in Pakistan give the inquiry in very early stage when they feel that there is an opportunity coming in the upcoming months.

When Pakistani buyer ask about the technicalities and prices as an inquiry I feel like they will buy batteries very soon but then they went away after knowing all the specs and prices. When I contact them back they say right now there is no demand but if there is in future I will let you know. I had so many similar experiences with UPS VRLA battery supplier because of a good demand of UPS.

Failure is a Key to Success


In electronic industry there is really tough competition all over the world. This is really dynamic industry in which people preferences are changing really often because of new innovations. In Pakistan I saw the great demand of UPS AGM batteries but now the trend is changing because people are moving towards renewable energy environment which consist many technologies.

There are still people demanding for UPS AGM batteries but its low as compare to history because people started using other applications also like solar panels, wind turbines and so on. They need different technology batteries for heavy applications like Deep cycle battery and Gel battery etc. AGM batteries can’t be suitable for all the applications.

Because of those innovations and new challenges a battery dealer must enter in the market with good variety of batteries that can fulfill different applications requirement. I got many buyers who asked for the batteries which my company does not manufacture so I realized that one should use his/her energy at the right place because I tried for the wrong market which wasted my time but on the other hand I learned a lot from different failures. It’s not possible for a UPS VRLA Battery supplier to enter in the market of automobiles batteries so the resources we have, must be used on the right place at the right time.

Experiences on Daily Basis



Today I would like to share some experiences on daily basis while interacting with different buyers around the Globe. Selling is not an easy task to perform because it is not only the matter of exchanging of goods from money. One should have a convincing attitude, motivation, patience and expertise in different areas of marketing. As an overseas marketing representative of a Chinese VRLA battery manufacturing company, I talked to many buyers around world on daily basis.

Three months back I got an inquiry for UPS AGM batteries from Pakistan. He was interested to be a sole distributor of our company but he wanted to test a sample first before buying our batteries. His colleagues went to Canton fair in China and planned to bring some pieces of samples to test on their way back to Pakistan. After the tradeshow I contacted him back but he told me that they forgot to bring samples in Pakistan and now they are not willing to take a dealership just because of their own blunder.

There are many customers who give you a good hope for a business. According to my UPS VRLA battery supplier, in professional field we should not have any expectations from anyone because later it makes you demotivated with your work. What I believe is that if you work to learn than money will come after you.

Lack of Awareness in Battery Industry



In the industry of consumer electronics there are some technicalities of battery technologies which people are not aware of them. I had a communication with UPS VRLA battery supplier from Pakistan who was interested to buy UPS AGM batteries. He was discussing with me about some technical things related VRLA battery but in the end of our conversation he said he wanted dry batteries not VRLA.

In some markets people consider VRLA batteries as dry batteries because they are not filled with much acid neither AGM battery nor Gel battery as compare to normal lead acid battery. Many people don’t know that there is a difference between VRLA batteries and dry batteries; people think they both are the same but the reality is different.
 
Before targeting any region we should have a proper research about that market for example how much there people know about batteries. What are the terms used for VRLA batteries in that market and how much they are educated enough to understand the technicalities of different technologies. For example in Indian market people know VRLA battery as SMF (Sealed Maintenance Free) battery because they don’t need maintenance so when we do a proper research about any particular market before targeting it than it will be easy for us to convince people and building up the trust factor.

Effective Way of Developing Business Contacts



In order to sale products we need to convince people. It depends on our marketing skills how much we good at it and how much our product quality and prices are competitive. If we try to convince buyers on low quality and high prices than our time will get wasted. My company is manufacturing UPS AGM batteries having competitive prices and good quality but still buyers take lot of time to close the deals.

There are so many buyers who just ask for the information again and again and then stop replying so we need to identify at first whether the customer is potential or not. The way we can identify is that we should ask their complete information at first and the experience about the product he is interested to buy. The information and experience he shares with you will give you an idea about his willingness to buy the product.

There was a UPS VRLA battery supplier from Egypt who is in contact with me for three months. Every time he asked the prices of new models of VRLA battery but then I realized later he just wanted to know the prices so we need to identify first about the potential level of the customer. Once we get an idea than we should take strong follow ups only with potential buyers which is one of the key success factors to get the deal closed.

Psychology of Battery dealers


In this 21st century many people are going towards renewable energy related business. This thing automatically results growth in battery industry. This is a great opportunity for a ups vrla battery supplier to make a lots of money. There are many customers I saw who pretend to buy batteries but actually their purpose is just to know the prices.

There was a buyer from Chile; I got his inquiry about vrla batteries. When I contacted him through call he showed so much concern and said that he was interested to be a sole distributor of our company in Chile. He asked me to send the whole price list of Agm batteries. I sent him the prices 1 month ago and still waiting for the response. Whenever I call him to know the status than he always say that I will reply you through email.

Today I had a meeting with a buyer who came to my office and asked so many details about our company and products because he was real interested customer rather than pretending. He is also planning to visit our company in China next week from his home country. He wants to test our ups agm batteries for his self satisfaction so the main observation of today is when a customer is really interested to buy a product than we should not waste our time by contacting him again and again.
